Hi Kurt,

Wiser earth will not be a good interaction site, people don't go to websites and interact much... I view it as a place to post files or permanent reference material.

Your best bet is yahoo or google discussion list at least its in my face and Wiser earth as a repository.

Hope that helps.

Chuck

Kurt,

The non profit allows you to work patiently on a number of solar developments with a variety of stakeholders in a non-competive collaborative fashion and when it comes time to invest in a project the members could direct their investments via tri local returns and add to a pool of money that addresses other investments so you have both short term returns mixed in with the longer returns of solar, otherwise you are going to run out of investment capital pretty quick as the number of investors willing to operate in an investment structure that has no payback for 10-15 years is well a small pool of people.

You asked about tax advantages, the investing end of things happens through a LLC. I will upload a model of the organizational structure.

I read the executive summary. It appears the assumptions are now dated given post financial crash and pre-Obama administration. I am operating on an assumption that institutional investors and socially consious investors will play with smaller returns and be happy with them as they will be safe, visible and local.
