About
I am the Carnivore Recovery Director for a grassroots wildlife conservation organization called WildEarth Guardians.
Serving in this position since 1994, I work to advance the vision of restoring native carnivores to the American West. I am a native of Idaho, and have dedicated nearly two-decades of my life to conservation issues, including marine mammal protection, ancient forest preservation, and for the past decade, large carnivore restoration.
In my spare time, my wife Annie and I can be found either chasing bears and wolves in the wilds of Montana and Wyoming, or hanging out with our friends at the many bluegrass, folk music or blues performances in Colorado. I have a B. A. in Political Science and am a four-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
