About

(I just reviewed my "Areas of focus" and it appears there is little focus ... but in reality, the core focus is SUSTAINABILITY....and its diversity of solutions)

My career is about nurturing natural resources for sustainable communities and a restorative earth's natural systems.  I use a wide variety of communciation strategies to research, write, illustrate and publish practical solutions.

My Internet publishing business, California Green Solutions provides extensive, free articles about sustainable business: CaliforniaGreenSoltuions.com  and for consumers: BackyardNature.com and a series of blogs about specific solutions such as:  SolutionsForLighting ; SolutionsforLEDLights ;  SolutionsForLandscaping  ;  SolutionsForGreen ... and more.

I'm providing a hub of information for the community of people concerned and active in "sustainability" for living and working. Your support is appreciated and welcomed.  We also provide visibility for companies that provide credible green, sustainable, high efficiency solutions -- products and services.  We provide a broad spectrum of information needed by small and medium size businesses (SMEs), but the processes are  certainly not limited to small groups.  The more the merrier! :-)  The solutions we seek are selected because they WILL work in small/medium scale applications, or are technologies that are important to small/medium size innovation  networks.  For example:  brownfield remediation at a  significantly lower cost,  water conservation in offices, organic and permaculture gardening and agriculture, etc.

Our focus is local and regional because Califonia is sooooo large :-) ... and because local stability requires a vibrant local business and community web of mutual support.  Local and regional business comes first -- then national and global.

I look forward to getting to know YOU...and hope we can share solutions and ideas, Carolyn
