About
Hello All,
I am interested in:
Growing Earth citizens who have leapfrogged in understanding of interdependence, cradle to cradle, biomimicry, personal mastery, care for each other, design, community and human interaction.
More recently I have my attention on the convening of individuals and groups, growing my ability in process facilitation and sharing my insights and experiences with peers and young people. The solutions are all out there. How do we work together, harness and create what is possible?
Different parts of me:
Co-convened Hope 07 gathering in May 07 in Tauhara, New Zealand, Youth Insight Collaboratory at Headlands Institute, Marin prior to the Digital Earth Summit in June 07
Co-facilitated and assisted in the running of workshops on Energy & Climate Change Strategy in NZ, organisational development retreats for research groups with Global Learning/Commonground.
Mentored and lead Sustainability Make A Difference Weekend for secondary/high school students in the Auckland Region- capacity building for shifts within schools.
I lead a team to bring together 100 young people from around New Zealand to the Digital Earth Summit on Sustainability. Each person write their vision for NZ 2050, not what could happen, what might happen, but what would we love to see.
Beginning March 2005, I was part of an 18 month leadership learning journey with 60 other people under 25 from around New Zealand. This was and remains an amazing forum for sharing and understanding one's ability to create the future we want. This bridges to the other community, science, senior executive programmes for opportunities.
Was selected one of the three from NZ for the UNEP/Bayer Asia Pacific EcoMinds in October 05.
I have degrees in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) and Commerce (Mgmt & Employment Relations). I have also previously been on the committees for Engineers for Social Responsibility & NZ Society for Sustainability Engineering & Science.
Lets create the future together
