Economy Bazaar of the Big One

Brenda will soon be working with Movement Strategy Center in Oakland, CA.  They are helping individuals, organizations and coalitions to work more collaboratively and sustainably, and to incorporate spirituality into their work. www.movementstrategy.org

Prior to this, Brenda was the Program Manager at Breast Cancer Action, and oversaw BCA's programmatic work-from representing BCA on environmental and women's health coalitions to managing some of BCA's ongoing campaigns.

Brenda is interested in activism and policy work on health care reform, women's health, and environmental health issues.  Brenda holds Bachelor degrees in both Biology and Psychology, and a  Masters degree in Animal Behavior.  Prior to BCA, Brenda worked with Bay area nonprofit youth organizations working on environmental justice.  She also conducted conservation and field research on howler monkeys, and developed environmental education and community development programs in Central America.
