About
I am a Ghanaian and a Ford Foundation Fellow studying MS Resource Management and Conservation at Antioch University New England Graduate School. Before comming to the US for advanced studies, I was into the broad field of environmental protection encompassing many of the thematic areas indicated above. I was selected by the Ford foundation International Fellowship Program (IFP) based on my contributiont to the promotion of environmental justice among disadvanged and rural communties in Northern Ghana and leadership potential.
Some courses being studied are further whipping my interest in social and environmental justice, including Building Sustainable Organizations, Nonprofit Leadership and Management as well as Organizing Social Movements and Campaigns. I have therefore challenge myself to integrate Fair trade, Green Banking and Insurance, Organic Farming and Life Cycle Analysis into HAYTAFORD's (a NOnprofit Organization some friends and I founded) program areas as a way of promoting social and environmental justice when I return to Ghana after my studies.
