I am currently working on the last year of my undergraduate degree with my major being 'Conservation, Restoration ecology' with an emphasis in 'Human Dimensions'. I'm still unsure what i want to do when i graduate, but it will basically involve building working landscapes and collaborative management in communities, which will blend natural resource use with conservation, but in the mean time i am involved with many of the environmental groups on campus. My last couple of summers i have worked for graduate students doing research on nutrient cycling and tundra limnology in alaska and this year i'm going back to do the same thing but will be looking at fire effects on the tundra.
