About

Founder and Executive Director of www.pachamama-ayni.org - whose mission is to work towards a socially just, environmentally sustainable and spiritually fulfilling humanity.  The organization will conduct work that empowers the
indigenous traditions of the world. We believe that these indigenous traditions hold keys to
knowledge-systems that have enabled sustainable ways of living for thousands of years.  This foundational
knowledge-system is based on the knowing that we are an inter-dependent part of the world in which we
live.

Hola

Thank you, Alice, for your work.

Yes, we also work on uniting ancient traditions with the modern world.

Fernando Quiguanas, Nasa indigena from Colombia, 19, joined our recent summeruniversity. During the Youthsummer they developed the Manifesto for a Free Earth :

Some thoughts of how to combine ancient traditions with modern responsibility for Mother Earth, you can read here :

Once again, thank you for your important and peaceful work.

Thank you for contacting me. I love the Bernard Shaw quote on the pachamama homepage even though I must admit I would be happy if my life were at least a candle to others.

My expertise lies in water issues, especially introducing sustainable sanitation under various conditions, in industrialised countries like Austria as well as to people who have little money to spend. The problem is not money but the approach to our resources, which we have to learn to value and treat with respect. This involves a lot of learning and changing our behaviour, minds and probably lifestyle. If I understand well that is a domain you are good at.

I would be glad to cooperate.

Best regards,

Martin
