About

I want to contribute toward a more peaceful, equitable, and sustainable human existence on planet Earth. Since being forced to retire from my job as professor of sociology at the University of Victoria in Canada, I have given lectures, written papers, joined non-governmental organizations, contributed to charities, and lent money (through Kiva.org) to individuals in the Third World who are trying to make a better life for themselves -- all in an attempt to realize my overall life objective.
