About

I am one of the founding members of AthensCAN, an Athens, GA NGO that looks to connect all local activists to create a proactive community.

I'm also a musician-- I play rhythm guitar and sing for progressive reggae band, DubConscious. The band uses its platform and stage to spread conscious living, sustainability issues, and environmental justice.

I connected to WiserEarth at the US Social Forum and haven't stopped thinking about it since. I'm committed to social change according to the will of the grassroots movement, whatever shape it will take.

I plan on having tables at our music shows to spread the message about WiserEarth and connect NGOs and people around the country.

If you want ten years of prosperity, plant trees.
If you want one hundred years of prosperity, educate people."

Wow, I just saw DubC last night for the first time at the Human Rights Festival.  I had no idea something this good existed in Athens.  I love raggae.  Excuse me "progressive raggae."  Ya'll are that much more impressive for the things that you do beyond playing great music.  Thanks.
