Problem [Edit]
There are several perceived barriers– social, economical, political, and physical– enviromental that contribute to individuals inaction on social issues that smite our planet Earth. The DoGooder attempts to help break down some of those barriers by allowing anyone with an Internet connection to support causes, in both tangible and intangible ways, simply by browsing the Internet. Donate money to green initiatives and charitable causes without spending a dime– on a the surface level, a paradox perhaps, but in truth, now a reality.
Action [Edit]
Simply download and install (takes literally about 10 seconds) the browser plug-in for free. It is available for Firefox (recommended), Internet Explorer, and Safari (with some limitations). The plug-in allows end users to opt-in to see campaigns related to environmental issues, charitable causes, health and wellness, and green and cause related tips.
Results [Edit]
Awareness of causes across a broad demo-graphic of end users; regular and perpetual tangible support for funding social causes and green initiatives.
Limitations [Edit]
The browser-plug in works most effectively on Firefox, but is available for Internet Explorer (version 7.0 recommended) and Safari.
