Biodynamic Agriculture

Uniting Heaven and Earth through farming

"This is a cosmic issue as well as an earthly issue. Precisely from the example of agriculture, we can see how necessary it is to derive forces from Spirit, forces that are quite yet unknown."~Rudolf SteinerThis group is created to further interest in and education about Biodynamic Agriculture. Problem  [Edit]

Due to excessive manipulation of the honeybees, humanity has decimated their populations.  The disappearance of the bees has far-reaching effects, for both the natural world and humanity.

Action  [Edit]

To return the bee populations, humanity must begin by studying overviews of the problem, versus narrow, reductionist solutions that are incapable of even perceiving the problem.  The Earth Vision project presents one such overview in its article  - Why the Bees are Dying - at http://www.evbooks.net/earth_vision_021.htm

Visit the article and explore the many ways we have been interfering with the honeybee hiving process, and exprapoltate how to return to natural and organic methods of honey production.

Results  [Edit]

Note that those who have been raising bees in the least interference mode feasible are having the best success.

Limitations  [Edit]

Humanity will need to overcome its materialist perspective, if it ever hopes to be able to encompass true overview perspectives.  the kind of visionary work to resolve current ecological crises will have to be bold and brave, in the face of materialist scepticism.
