About  [Edit]

This is an article by Michael Pollan, the author of an Omnivore's Dilemma, dissecting the argument of whether our individual acts of sustainability make a difference, in other words "why bother?"

I especially like the bit about taking a sabbath - I think that especially where I am, the idea of taking a time out from the electronic and consumer world and just being for a day sounds amazing and valuable.

Enjoy!
