2007 International Week of Peace - Nova Southeastern University, Florida

At Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida,  several individuals, student groups, and divisions at the university came together with interested community partners to plan and conduct the 2007 International Week of Peace at NSU, Sept. 17-21.  The Peace Week was a full week of events designed to engage, educate and inspire.  Activities included lectures, a film festival, interactive projects, and civic engagement.

On Friday, Sept. 21, the International Day of Peace itself, there was a forum with keynote speakers, questions and answers from the campus community, making of pinwheels for peace, and a peace poetry reading.
