About  [Edit]

A project supported by the Research Cooperative

Mission: Providing help with communication for local communities in developing economies, and in environmentally sensitive regions.

Description: Our aim is to help field scientists who wish to help local communities. In developing economies and environmentally sensitive regions, natural resources are often in jeopardy because the local inhabitants are not able to earn a sustainable living for themselves and families.

Members of this group can offer or seek advice and communication support for trade and other activities involving enthno-cultural products, information networking, ecological accounting, and access to communication services. All members of the Research Cooperative are welcome to join, observe, and contribute.

By supporting better communication, we can all try to help preserve natural and human resources and the communities that depend on them.
