Concepts in Art is a unique art gallery combining work by prisoners and local amateur and professional artists. The ongoing "No Barriers" exhibition gives an insight into the creative and artistic inspiration from behind the high walls and secure gates of British prisons today. The exhibition brings an awareness to the general public by showing just what can be achieved behind closed doors. It enables the public to buy a unique piece of work, and at the same time the proceeds of sale of the work benefits an agreed charity of the prisoners' choice.
