(1803-1873)
"I confess gladly that the employment of chemical fertilizer was founded on of the conjecture that do not exist in the truth.
These fertilizer had to carry one complete revolution in agriculture, the manure of stable it had completely to be excluded and all the mineral matters remaved from the harvest, replaced with chemical fertilizer. The fertilizer it had to allow to coltivate on a same field, without discontinuity and exhaustion, always the same plant, the clover, the weath, ecc., like the will and the needs of the agriculturist.
I had sin against the wisdom of the Creator and I have received the due punishment.
I have intentional to carry an improvement to Its work and in my blindness I have belived thah in the wonderful relationship of the lows that join the life to the surface of the earth, renewing continuosly, a ring it had been forgotten, that I poor impotent worm, I had to suppli."
