In Adelaide, Australia, we celebrated a number of events for Peace Day.  There was a wonderful schools event, with a multi-cultural school hosting about 10 others to participate in peace activities. Then they all gathered to raise the UN flag and sing "Heal the World" (very, very moving!) There was also the launch of an exhibition of peace artwork and a commemoration for peace activists. There was a stall selling coffee and embroidery to help the developing world, a fantastic peace quiz night, a multi-faith time of reflection, a university multi-faith peace display, a solidarity stand of women for peace and a film fundraiser.
