About  [Edit]

Med_manAn animated retelling of the classic story by Jean Giono.

The richness and flavour of Jean Giono's language along with the poetry and magic colours of Frederic Back all come together in a captivating film entitled The Man Who Planted Trees, a film of exceptional artistic vision and personal warmth.

The narrator, well-known actor Christopher Plummer, tells of a plain and good man, who possesses an innate feel for nature and who manages to create a forest in a desolate and arid area.
