About  [Edit]

People who are dedicated to the ethos that WiserEarth embodies should watch this movie.

Zeitgeist The Movie is a film by Peter J. exploring the relationship between Christianity, the September 11 attacks and the Federal Reserve Bank. It was released in 2007 on Google Video and is available for free distribution. It is achieving notoriety very quickly, as of July 15th 2007 a specific google search shows 167,000 hits.

Zeitgeist covers many topics within a very short time. The information can be overwhelming. There are three main parts:

Part I
attempts to establish the use of modern day religion by governments or "states" as a manipulative distraction that plays on peoples fears.  The video argues that religion is now used to exacerbate differences between peoples of the world in order to distract them from their truer, more meaningful origins.  It also claims that religion is used as an important tool in creating an inflated sense of fear resulting in the necessity to defend biased ideologies beyond good reason.  Part I accomplishes all this by detailing the evolution of religion and its inherent relationship to astrology.  It also explores the common threads found throughout religions of past "ages".  Direct parrallels are drawn between modern Judeo-Christianity and the combination of ancient "pagan" rituals and the religion of Ancient Egypt.

Part II exposes little known truths about the attacks on 9/11 (note: if you are particulary sensitive to this issue, talk to someone who knows you and has seen the movie before you watch this section).  Just about every element of the disaster is documented with the intent of implicating the United States with the use of a "false flag" operation to manufacture support for a predetermined war.  Eye witness accounts and expert witnesses are used to debunct many of the governments claims regarding their knowledge and handling of the attack.  Answers are also given to explain pieces of the government's account that were purposely overlooked such as the lack of debris in both the Pennsylvania and Pentagon crashes, the collapse of building 7 at the WTC, the origin of funding, and the lack of routine emergency response by NORAD.

Part III essentilly links Parts I & II and builds upon them by studying the formation of the Federal Reserve, Federal Income Tax, and the rise of currupt special interests within politics.  Citing evidence from past "terrorist" plots and goverment activities, Part III describes the purpose of a facade that is shown towards the Americn people by their government.  Big business interests are credited with bringing about wars, creating exploitable econmic climates, destroying civil liberties, and pushing for the control of a centrlaized global society ruled by the elite - themselves.

Exactly!
My only bone of contention is that the film maker will not win over those whose belief systems are so heavily invested in [Christianity] by mocking them (though I laughed). Nevertheless the documentary is well researched, hard hitting, lends much needed (historical) perspective to current and imminent events, and ultimately, is beatific promoting activism, hope and love!!
