This school has a course in bio-dynamic agriculture which is really good. In this area of New Zealand (Napier/Hastings) the soil is very rich from volcanic activity and there is a lot of sun. The biodynamic farm that most of the course is done on is well run. Great compost heaps. There are a lot of other bio-dynamic farms in the area and so many field trips are included to talk first-hand to various businesses...i.e. apple farmers, Weleda herb farm, cattle etc that are bio-dynamically run. The teachers are the best I have ever had.
