The Earth Charter Program on Religion and Sustainability

In the transition to a more just, sustainable and peaceful future, the world's spiritual and religious communities have a vital role to play. Around the world, more and more communities are rising to this challenge. The Earth Charter Program on Religion and Sustainability is being developed to support this growing movement by providing access to the wealth of information gathered by ECI's secular partner organizations, and translating it into a language of faith, commitment, and moral action.

The central elements of the program will be the production of educational materials and the dissemination of success stories, best practices and practical examples on how the Earth Charter can be used in religious contexts to foster dialogue, collaboration and active engagement on the urgent ecological and social challenges of our time.
