About  [Edit]

Help reduce traffic congestion and pollution in San Francisco by supporting the following City program!

EMERGENCY RIDE HOME (ERH) is a free program offered through San Francisco's Department of the Environment for local employers that reimburses employees for taxi rides or rental cars when they have a personal emergency. These emergencies include picking up a sick child, being ill themselves, etc. The purpose is to support those who do not drive alone to work.

San Francisco employers simply sign an agreement form to give their employees eligibility in the program. For more information, please visit http://www.sferh.org.

NOTE: Guaranteed ride home programs are available in many cities/counties outside of San Francisco. If you have questions about the program in general, please feel free to contact us.
