About  [Edit]

The midwest was hit by a record-breaking flood in the spring of 2008. Documents were created to ask city officials to spread the word about non-toxic ways to remediate homes and yards. A pamphlet was created containing step-by-step information about remediating flooded homes and yards.

We suggested the city:

  • Share bioremediation techniques and soil testing information with citizens
  • Perform soil tests in affected neighborhoods
  • Distribute bioremediation materials to neighborhoods with identified toxins
  • Hire contractors that employ non-toxic cleanup methods
