About [Edit]
The midwest was hit by a record-breaking flood in the spring of 2008. Documents were created to ask city officials to spread the word about non-toxic ways to remediate homes and yards. A pamphlet was created containing step-by-step information about remediating flooded homes and yards.
We suggested the city:
- Share bioremediation techniques and soil testing information with citizens
- Perform soil tests in affected neighborhoods
- Distribute bioremediation materials to neighborhoods with identified toxins
- Hire contractors that employ non-toxic cleanup methods
