About  [Edit]

The Boston Community Change Card program is designed to help communities reverse the negative impact of losing dollars to retailers that are not locally owned. The first such program was launched in Boston in November of 2006.

The Community Change Card provides consumers with the incentives they need to shift their purchasing habits to support the cultural, economic and environmental health of their communities by shopping locally.

The Interra Project partners with community leaders to share the necessary tools and information to launch Community Change programs locally. The Community Change Card promotes the economic and environmental health vital to sustainability by shifting dollars locally.
