21ST SEPTEMEBR 2007 THE INTERNATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION OF PEACE

The world peace foundation Africa joined the United Nations and the rest in the world of celebrating the International Day of Peace on 21st September, 2007, which marked the conclusion of the celebration of 100 days of peace which started 13th June, 2007.
The world peace foundation for Africa in collaboration with Helen Kaunda High School, we organized the discussion and debt about peace. The Nation Peace Representative gives some questions to the students to give them the initiative and to see the capacity for every one. The first question was:
-What is the meaning of UNESCO?
-Which country did the United Nation General Secretary comes from?
-Which day did the United Nation recommend to celebrate the international day of peace?
-What is peace explain this in twenty (20) words?
- From 2001 to 2010, according to United Nations, what do they call this period?
-Give the objective of the peace it together campaign ere for UNOY peace builders?

Discussing about peace in Zambia

After those questions, we gave them the period to bring back the answers before 21st September, 2007. After collection of the questions, the first one got 97% and we gave the first student a gift of perfume, cards and the certificate. The second one got a set of salt seller, cards and a certificate. Third one went with a box of pens, cards and the certificate. We recommend then to contact the organization of peace website and to fill the forms, to be the members. These things we gave them to encourage them to be a peace builder and to go and preach to the youths the message of peace, love and unity.
After the activities starts, the youths starts to ask some questions, one the questions which was asked was, how can we talk peace if Africa is facing more problems?, especially poverty. More questions were asked by the youths. Now the explanation from the nation representative, Mr. John Mukhuta Muhiana gave them the slogan of: PEACE, LOVE AND UNITY BE WITH YOU.

Youth for peace with love and unity

In the words of the declaration on culture of peace adopted by the 53rd General Assembly 1999, the culture of peace is a set of value, altitudes, modes of behavior and ways of life that reject violence on prevent conflict by taking their roots behavior and solving problems through dialogue and negotiations. The culture of peace is based on respect for human right. Democracy and tolerance, the promotion of development, education for peace, the free flow of information and wider participation of women’s as an integral element in the preventing violence and conflict. Infact men of the day to day. The world peace foundation Africa is process to supply, provide the venues, support and guidance to open space to open minds for peace the world peace is open transparent, patient, commitment, drawing people from all walks of life freeing them their stasis and mobilizing them. All members of the culture movements have to be leaders in their own right, drawing on their potential and emmer strengths.
Galvanizing, inspiring and emmergizing the peace movements every one is a peace leader and peace educators. No harm expecting and demand no harm is done to us or others, no one is better than another, we have critical thinking and finding our own truth; education is our best investment and information, our most important resource. Building on health culture is about building health relationship we can do that as we take ownership of peace. Other we follow because it will be up lifting and empowering, it will be infections and lead to sudden massive, culture change things peaceful; this enlightening statement is the result of main contributor and support as look around this world, filed with tragedy and violence. My heart go out to the young people of today on behalf of my generations I wish to apologies to their people who are facing some problems all in different countries. How ever we have not been able to carry out this responsibility, instead we create our word filled with violence, war, discrimination, poverty, and disease and environment pollution.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

The activities of W. P. F to culture of peace. For the women’s we discussed to open the circle of peace about African culture in Kamitondo and Buchi Kitwe in Zambia.
