About [Edit]
greenbuildingsnyc.com attempts to stay on top of the latest news and developments in green building, with particular emphasis on USGBC and the growing legal implications that both LEED and advanced construction technologies such as BIM present to owners and design professionals. While New York City is its primary focus, this web log also devotes significant attention to green projects and initiatives from across the country and the rest of the world.
Stephen Del Percio established gbNYC.com in March of 2006 and is an attorney admitted to practice law in both New York and New Jersey, as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. Prior to attending law school at William & Mary, Stephen worked as a project manager and superintendent for one of New York City’s largest construction companies on several high-profile projects, including Five Times Square and pre-construction services for the New York Times Tower. He holds an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Columbia and currently practices law at a full-service firm in Manhattan which exclusively services the design, construction, and real estate industries. Please note that the views and opinions contained in this web blog are solely his own and are not necessarily representative of those of his law firm.
Stephen provides a variety of consulting services in connection with green building issues or your particular project, including contract review, risk management, research, and sustainable project strategy. You can contact him via email at sdelpercio@gmail.com or at 201-835-8530.
