About  [Edit]

This site, set up by David Holmgren with Richard Telford, Jenneke Kylstra, David Arnold and Michele Margolis, outlines the 12 princples of permaculture with symbols and explanation. It has links to David's home page, the FutureScenarios blog and also to Rob Hopkins Transition Towns blog.

A good starting point for getting a clear definition of the principles and how they all fit together in the practice of permaculture.

Here's a good 16 page intro to Permaculture from the site. Free to download in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Glad to help.

I'm no PDC holder (yet at least), and have no sufficient knowledge to compare previous and proposed versions, so, maybe best not to contaminate the votes :) Thanks for passing it on btw.

Have done Bowo and thanks for enhancing the resource.

At the moment the permaculture community is voting on a logo for all PDC holders to use to identify their premaculutre activities. To vote now, go to the www.permacultureprinciples.com site.

Thanks for posting this excellent resource Celeste!

Found me a good guide to permaculture (just added it above in About section).

You should add this to all the permaculture groups your a member of (in case you haven't).
