Calling all gardeners and composters!
Need more green waste for composting? Heath & Lejeune, an organic
produce wholesaler in downtown LA, is offering clean, certified organic
fruit and vegetable waste to local LA gardeners in need of raw material
for their compost piles. Each Friday between 7:00am -2:30pm we will
have green material (clean, untouched by trash, and 100% organic
vegetable/fruit) set aside at our warehouse for pickup. We will be
happy to provide boxes for take home.
Please respond directly to Katie if you are interested - you will need
to email us to let us know you are coming each week before Friday so we
can ensure that we have enough product set aside. Additionally, feel
free to email if you would like arrange compost material pick-up on
another day/time.
