About [Edit]
Global warming
and its dreadful impact on earth is well known. The rapid climate
change, species to face extinction, seas to rise, water scarcity to
spread and droughts and floods to become more frequent are just a few
of them. The great environmental havoc is staring humanity in the face.
I came across a really interesting site - Breathing Earth<img id="snap_com_shot_link_icon" style="border: 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 1px 0pt 0pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; font-family: 'trebuchet ms',arial,helvetica,sans-serif; float: none; position: static; left: auto; top: auto; line-height: normal; width: 14px; height: 12px; background-color: transparent; background-image: url('http://shots.snap.com/images/v2.11.1/theme/green/palette.gif'); background-position: -630px 0pt; background-repeat: no-repeat; text-decoration: none; visibility: visible; vertical-align: top; display: inline" class="snap_preview_icon" src="http://shots.snap.com/images/v2.11.1/t.gif" alt="" /> - which shows the levels of carbon dioxide emission (responsible for global warming) in countries around the world along with the death and birth rates. Its a flash-based presentation and worth a look. The data from the site, has been acquired from Wikipedia<img id="snap_com_shot_link_icon" style="border: 0pt none ; margin: 0pt; padding: 1px 0pt 0pt; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; font-family: 'trebuchet ms',arial,helvetica,sans-serif; float: none; position: static; left: auto; top: auto; line-height: normal; width: 14px; height: 12px; background-color: transparent; background-image: url('http://shots.snap.com/images/v2.11.1/theme/green/palette.gif'); background-position: -630px 0pt; background-repeat: no-repeat; text-decoration: none; visibility: visible; vertical-align: top; display: inline" class="snap_preview_icon" src="http://shots.snap.com/images/v2.11.1/t.gif" alt="" />.
