About  [Edit]

China’s fast-pace growth has left the country with countless environmental problems, from unbreathable air to desertification to poor water quality. Internationally, China is facing increasing pressure on the issue of climate change, as carbon emissions sky rocket. Growing concern among citizens and increasing investment in clean technology such as renewable energy is creating many opportunities to make China both prosperous and green.

China Green Beat is a video podcast on China’s environmental issues and solutions.

Our podcast is created to communicate the gravity of the environmental problems and the nature of current solutions to those problems. We hope to provide a window for citizens, both Chinese and global, to see visually what is going on now and create a fruitful discussion about how China can become cleaner and greener. We hope to create “China’s Green Beat”.
