About [Edit]
A fascinating interview with Clay Shirky on the Wired Blog about
applying ideas in his book Here Comes Everybody to social change -- in particular environmental
issues. He argues that collective action is much more challenging than "simple
collaboration" like Wikipedia. And, what is needed is new legal structures to
enable moving thought into action -- specifically effective structure for
organizations like the Sierra Club to enable real action by their base /
membership. He raises more questions and challenges than potential solutions and
tactics.
