This website focuses on pico-hydro technology, or small-scale hydroelectric energy generated from turbines set up over a light stream of water. Pico-hydro has been adapted and used widely throughout the mountainous provinces of northern Vietnam, representing an unprecedented source of electricity for its rural users.
