About [Edit]
MTP works with communities adversely affected by military toxics, including residential neighborhoods, Indigenous tribes, and veterans’ groups. We help community leaders develop the knowledge, skills, and organization they need to win environmental justice from the military and defense contractors. We also help local organizations work together on regional and national levels to change laws, policies, and practices and protect all communities from the threat of military toxics.
MTP is a network of peers. We don’t parachute into communities to do things for people, or sign up outside experts to speak for our members. We do help organizations connect with each other, share skills and information, and act and speak for themselves.
