About [Edit]

Living Earth Television is creating the world’s first global, noncommercial television broadcasting service. LETV finds documentary programs made by local filmmakers all over the world, and is creating ways to bring them to a global audience. Through Living Earth Television programs, we can learn about our neighbors all over the world – and through understanding and celebrating our similarities and differences, build a more peaceful, sustainable world. Together.
Living Earth Television is a nonprofit organization working to create venues for sharing locally-produced documentaries from and about ordinary people worldwide. Please visit our website at www.LETV.org.

Living Earth Television is focusing primarily on showing world documentaries on television, although we will also make them available online. Just about every village worldwide has a TV set! There are still areas of the world where Internet access is very rare - I saw a figure from the UN, I believe, earlier this year, saying that Africa is still at 5%. All the technology is merging, of course... it's just easier to keep up in the wealthier countries.

This is a great initiative!
Do you have any plan to take those documentaries online? So people from around the world can truly watch them for free, any time, every where? |
