About [Edit]
Promoting community sustainability by facilitating grassroots action, fostering awareness of sustainability, and serving as an informational and networking resource in the Oklahoma City area.
Sustainable OKC is a grassroots organization working at the crossroads of business, environment, and social justice in Oklahoma City. As a local chapter of the nonprofit Oklahoma Sustainability Network, Sustainable OKC organizes projects to make our community more beautiful, livable, responsible, and equitable, now and in the future.
Sustainable OKC was founded in spring of 2005. Our main activity is centered on the work of our action groups, which are currently Urban Development and Food/Agriculture (more information under What You Can Do). We also sponsor Green Drinks.
