The Anti-Prejudice Consortium (APC) works to fight prejudice, increase tolerance and promote respect among all people. Our mission is to be a resource to and partner with middle schools and the community in the battle against prejudice, discrimination and intolerance.



Our goals are



- To increase awareness and understanding of the many forms of prejudice students encounter within their schools including stereotypes related to ethnicity, race, religion, disability, culture and economic differences.



- To provide an educational opportunity and safe forum for students of diverse backgrounds to talk, exchange ideas and interact.



- To allow students to gain valuable insight into their roles and responsibilities in reducing prejudice and hate, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to affect positive change in themselves and their school communities.
