StarShine is about hope and belief; belief in the fact that each and every human being was born to contribute in a unique way. StarShine helps students, teachers and those working at StarShine to find and grow their highest and best use. The seed of greatness that is born in every person, when nurtured and explored, creates an enthusiasm for living, which causes each person to search, find and live their destiny. Abilities and desires are unique, just like fingerprints. When a person is supported to explore these unique abilities and to learn more about them, they get excited about their own future and then society benefits.
StarShine believes that when individuals are supported in their own abilities, they become more respectful of others' unique abilities. They begin to recognize that the world is a big place, full of possibilities, as well as responsibilities, and that everyone can and must, make a unique contribution and that the world needs each and every one, or something will not work.

At Starshine, we use a diverse set of approaches to inspire children. Our Peace Curriculum helps students to understand how to live in a more peaceful and powerful way, through personal integrity and accountability and teaches positive negotiation techniques. Our garden provides hands-on experience in environmental science. This 'living laboratory' teaches students about social concepts such as bio-sustainable living and provides a sense of accomplishment through community cooperation.

Our program leverages the power of technology, providing Individual Personal Learning Plans that incorporate a student's dream job as well as their requirements for their education, using computer-based learning platforms for each student and powerful tools for teachers to meet tough standards and measure progress.

All high school students participate in business internships each year to help them develop real-world skills and win college scholarships. Every student learns economics and financial management starting in kindergarten, using books and games developed by RichDadPoorDad. With a focus on International Studies as well as Global Issues, every student k-12, learns to be an ambassador of an International Country that they are assigned.

Along with CORE skills, StarShine equally spends time on SUCCESS SKILL building, incorporating Executive Protocol throughout each day.
