Asociacion ANDAR seeks to help urban & rural poor families - and especially women - in Costa Rica to obtain a decent, sustainable living by offering various forms of small business development training -- mainly in practical skills and credit assistance. In particular, our 'Ecofinca' - near Guápiles - is an operating organic cooperative farm that serves as a model and educational center. For some time now it has sold its dried medecinal herbs to 2 national tea companies, and supplied fruits and vegetables for farmers' markets and visitors alike. We are currently developing new products for sale, and proceeding with the organization of many more similar ecological farm projects - mainly in the Limón Province area (Caribe coast).
