SLIC provides legal aid and other necessary help to the refugees in India. Apart from providing legal aid, SLIC is working as the implementing partner of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees India. SLIC organises advocacy camps, sensetisation and training programmes, fact-finding missions in the field to determine the level and nature of of refugee rights and protection, awareness programs for refugees, and socio-economic assessments of refugees and protection interventions.
