About  [Edit]

Vision

The Energy Action coalition unites diverse organizations in an alliance that supports and strengthens the student and youth clean energy movement in North America. The partners of Energy Action work together to leverage our collective power and create change for a clean, efficient, just and renewable energy future. The work of Energy Action is focused on four strategic areas: campuses, communities, corporate practices, and politics.

Environmental Justice

In January 2005, Energy Action Coalition formally adopted three philosophies of environmental justice to help guide the colaborative work of the coalition partners.

  • Principles of Environmental Justice
  • People of Color Environmental Justice’s Principles of Working Together
  • Bali Principles of Climate Justice

Fiscal Sponsorship

The Campus Climate Challenge is fiscally sponsored by the Earth Island Institute, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Earth Island Institute helps young organizations like Campus Climate Challenge get off the ground and grow.
