Vegetarians of Washington is an independent 501(c)3 non profit organization incorporated in the state of Washington. We formed in June 2001. We are an active and dynamic group with events happening in and around the Puget Sound, and in many other parts of the state from time to time. We are the largest vegetarian organization in the Northwest and one of the largest in the country. Vegetarians of Washington was founded by everyday people. We welcome everyone whether you’re a vegetarian, a beginner or just curious. We’re having a good time discovering new and tasty foods, and we invite you to join in the adventure and the fun.



At Vegetarians of Washington we really love a good meal. Food is there to be enjoyed! However, many people feel that they’re caught in a bind. They want to enjoy delicious food, but at the same time they worry that the food they most enjoy is the least healthy for them.
