Hyphae Design Laboratory

In the sustainable design community, we try to embody the functions of a hyphal network. We provide the link between other disciplines to bring about deeply sustainable collaboration. Our core business includes the design of rainwater catchment systems, greywater systems, greywater wetlands, bioswales, rain gardens, living roofs, living walls and other Low Impact Development water infrastructure.

We believe in the intelligence of nature. we research and design human ecosystems that addapt and function as living systems. We focus on provided innovative apropropriate ecological design for both virtual and physical architecture. Bringing together emerging sustainable technologies, natural order, traditional biological sciences, and the emerging capabilities virtual networks.

We are a new breed of design collective. One that blurs the line between, science, art and ecology.

Our core business is researching and designing functional regenerative ecosystems and consulting on product design,architectural design & engineering from schematic to construction documents. We also work in a wide range of other sectors from traditional scientific research to environmental art installations.
