It is with great sadness that we report the death of Steve Habib Rose. A number of us met this evening and thought that this group would be a fitting tribute. Mission:
EcoLogic's mission is two-fold: environmental education and greening the Rensselaer Polytech campus. To achieve this mission we created the Greening of Rensselaer Initiatives (GRI). Initially, the GRI was a bold innovative three pronged approach to environmentally sound education and implementation of methodologies. The program has grown from the initial Garden & Greenhouse, Environmental Education Center, and Recycling Program, to encompass a myriad of greening efforts. These currently include Green Purchasing, Water Conservation and extensive community outreach.
