Mission:

The East Timor Ireland Solidarity Campaign was founded in Dublin in 1992. It aims to increase awareness among Irish and other European people of the continuing violations of human rights in East Timor; highlight the illegal occupation of East Timor by Indonesia; make known the involvement of Western governments in military and economic aid to Indonesia; and to help create a situation in which human rights guaranteed by the Universal Declaration, including that of self-determination, are respected.
