About  [Edit]

The Mindolo Ecumenical Foundation is a Pan-African institution working in the area of education, training and mediation. Peace education is incorporated in the curriculum of its four Pan-African training programmes for youth leaders, women, ecumenical leaders and pre-school teachers. The Foundation is establishing a nine-month training programme on peace education. The goal is to train people from across Africa on how to train others in conflict resolution skills, as well as be effective intervenors in conflict situations. In Zambia the Foundation is also involved in mediation.

It offers a three-month Peace Certificate covering conflict analysis, conflict resolution, human rights, training of trainers, mediation skills, restorative justice and non-violent strategies. A nine-month Peace Certificate in conflict resolution, peace-building, computer training and democracy is also offered.
