Think of it as back-of-the-napkin brainstorming, shared worldwide. Arrange your ideas on a global tabletop in the form of websites, audio, spreadsheets, or your own words. IdeaTree sits at the convergence of concept mapping, mind mapping, blogging, and social bookmarking. And it works on iPhones.
Ideatree is a tool for "connecting the dots" between knowledge, indicating relationships and collecting comments as you go. IdeaTree allows concurrent, shared visual collaboration, replacing disposable flip charts with a shared visual space containing links to collective knowledge and available for editing 24 hours a day. Being web-based, no installation is required.
IdeaTree supports the enhancement of characteristics common to highly creative groups (1):
