About  [Edit]

The Learning Garden is located at the Venice High School at Venice and Walgrove Blvds. It serves as community resource and offers students of the high school opportunity to learn horitculture. Other groups such as UCLA Extension and Master Gardener Program use the fertile soil for class projects. Workshops are offered and TLG has wonderful patio under shade trees that is available for evening movies, parties, and other gatherings. There are several permaculture students and volunteers tending garden plots and fruit trees. And there is much potential to be explored. It also offers opportunity to be of service to high school students that are interested in agriculture. Its open 6 days a week. Closed Mondays. visit website for more information, calendar etc.
