Transition Boulder County (formerly known as Boulder County Going Local) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to catalyze, inspire, encourage, network, support and train communities in Boulder County as they consider, adopt, adapt and implement Transition Initiatives. in May 2008, we became the first official Transition Initiative in North America. We are also a chapter of Post Carbon Institute's Relocalization Network (www.relocalize.net).
