About  [Edit]

The Peace Villages Foundation (PVF) is a sustainable, transparent, grassroots NGO, entirely funded and operated by long and short-term volunteers. We share the values of peace, justice and tolerance, fundamentally focusing on global cooperation, the preservation of indigenous cultures and the empowerment of young people while valuing local knowledge and working with cultural sensitivity.

PVF provides additional opportunities in humanitarian, educational, recreational and environmental fields and assist our beneficiaries to develop their potential and improve their own lives.  We promotes a Culture of Peace through enriching cross-cultural exchange between people of all ages, races and nationalities through voluntary community service and intercultural education.

PVF works with cultural sensitivity; the people of each culture know and understand what is appropriate for their own communities. Because local people are the experts, we assist them in carrying out the objectives they deem important.

PVF welcomes individual volunteers, families and groups regardless of age, experience or background. Volunteers don't have to speak fluent Spanish as we provide full support and 24 hour back-up from our local staff. Volunteering with us is a great opportunity to work side by side with locals, learn new skills, study Spanish, and immerse oneself in the Latin and indigenous culture.

Our Volunteer opportunities are truly the microcosm of a world where people join together giving priority to improving life for humanity and promoting a Culture of Peace as a practical way to both prevent and resolve conflict.

Peace Villages Foundation is the first known non profit franchise organisation. It represents a unique opportunity for social entrepreneurs and activists who want to take responsibility and start their own development organization. Talk to me!

Best wishes!

Manfred
